Continued Fun with the Nikon F5.6 500 mm Prime Lens

Is there nothing more haunting in the common loon’s call in the afternoon or leaving in any lake in northern areas in the United States and Canada.

So today, you’ll understand my great surprise of seeing young loons up in Port Washington while traveling around today. On there a Northwood track waiting for the lakes to open, resting after a very long journey. Today was great to try out the new lens—the Nikon F5.6 500 mm Prime. I had the attached to a Nikon Z6 Mirrorless camera with the Nikon FTZ adapter. My overall viewpoints on the lens I will share soon. But thought images speak volumes. So a quick share as to my results from the day.

I will tell you one thing for sure, having a long-reach lens that is roughly the same weight as my Nikon f2.8 70-200 mm zoon is fantastic!

Hope you enjoy, more soon!
