Vacation and Scouting Trip

Hi All, hope your week has been good!  Last week I took a little road trip.  This trip I was hoping to scout out some area's I'd like to revisited in the future.  Starting off this trip at the New Zoo in Green Bay, Wisconsin, then on to spend a couple days in Munising, Michigan,  on to Duluth/Superior, and lastly took a drive back along the Mississippi River.

I think with all of us as photographers it easy to get caught up in the new place or county we've never been, and not see the opportunities that reside right out our back door so to speak.  Now after having spent a little time in these places, I can see me spending a week in any of them very easily.  Places like Green Bay, not only include the New Zoo, but many other wildlife viewing sites in the city. Not to mention the landscapes and cityscapes, as well as Door County being a short distance away.

Munising, has an abundance of waterfalls, State Parks, not to mention Lake superior shoreline. And if I took my boat I could've done a little fishing as well!  Duluth/superior has great vistas overlooking the city and Lake superior, Hawks Ridge, zoos, aquariums, and along the North shore from the city more waterfalls lighthouses and landscapes that can keep people busy for weeks.

So to sum it up, you will defiantly see me at these spots again.  maybe you too can look for places near you to explore.  Happy shooting!
