Sauk City, Wisconsin Eagle's Two!

Two weeks ago I made a two day trip to Sauk City, Area of Wisconsin.  The City borders the Wisconsin River, and during the winter, Eagle's and other birds hang around the area due to the Hydro Electric Plant that on the River.

Most of my photography was done early morning, and late afternoon.  As many of you experienced this year, is a colder than normal winter.  The two days I was out their the high's was 3 degrees, It was nice in that respect to be able to stay in my car and use it as a blind. As you can see in the above picture, they do ask that you remain in your car, so not to disturb them.

The mornings though cold, were just glorious with the steam from the water interacting with the crisp cold air.

What I took away from this trip, was one a oneness with nature.  Two on a technical side, try to get as long of len as you can, or a good quality 300 mm and teleconverter.  Also, hand holding is a little hard, next time I will be using something that I'll bring up in my next post.  Till then, happy shooting.
